Nur noch 5 Ratifikationen fehlen (Stand: 7.März 2002)
 

On Tuesday, 5 March 2002, Mauritius ratified the Rome Statute of the
International Criminal Court, thereby becoming the 53th State Party  to
the treaty.

On Wednesday, 6 March 2002, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
ratified the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court,  becoming
the 54th State Party to the treaty.

On Thursday, 7 March 2002, Cyprus ratified the Rome Statute of the
International Criminal Court, thereby becoming the 55th State Party  to
the treaty.

ERRATUM: We had earlier announced that the deposit by the former
Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia on the 6th of March made it the 53rd
State Party to the treaty, however, the Coalition was unaware that
Mauritius had already deposited their ratification instrument of the
Rome Statute.  We regret the error.

The Rome Statute will enter into force with 60 ratifications. To
date, 55 countries have completed the ratification process and
deposited the instrument of ratification with the UN Secretary
General.

Mardi le 5 mars 2002, la Republique de Maurice a ratifié le Statut de
Rome établissant la Cour Pénale Internationale, devenant ainsi le 53ème
Etat Partie au traité.

Mercredi le 6 mars 2002, l'Ex-République Yougoslave de Macédonie a
ratifié le Statut de Rome établissant la Cour Pénale Internationale,
devenant ainsi le 54ème Etat Partie au traité.

Jeudi le 7 mars 2002, la Republique de Chypre a ratifié le Statut de Rome
établissant la Cour Pénale Internationale, devenant ainsi le 55ème Etat
Partie au traité.

Correction: la Republique de Maurice a déposé son instrument de
ratification mardi le 5 mars 2002 et est devenue le 53ème État Partie au
Statut de Rome. Nous avions annoncé hier que l'Ex-République de Macédonie
était devenue le 53ème État Partie et nous nous excusons pour cette
erreur indépendante de notre volonté.

Le Statut de Rome entrera en vigueur une fois que 60 pays l'auront
ratifié. A ce jour, 55 pays ont donc achevé leur processus de
ratification et déposé leur instrument auprès du Secrétaire général des
Nations Unies.

El martes 5 de marzo 2002, la Republica de Mauricio se convirtió en el
Estado Miembro Nr. 53 del Estatuto de Roma de la Corte Penal
Internacional.

El miércoles 6 de marzo 2002, ex República Yugoslava de Macedonia se
convirtió en el Estado Miembro Nr. 54 del Estatuto de Roma de la Corte
Penal Internacional.

El jueves 7 de marzo 2002, la Republica de Chipre se convirtió en el
Estado Miembro Nr. 55 del Estatuto de Roma de la Corte Penal
Internacional.

ERRATUM: Habiamos anunciado antes que el deposito de la ex-Republica
Yugoslava de Macedonia el 6 de Marzo la hizo el Estado Miembro Numero 53
del Estatuto de Roma. La Coalicion no sabia que la Republica de Mauricio
ya habia depositado su instrumento de ratificacion del Estatuto de Roma.
Lo sentimos mucho por el error.

El Estatuto de Roma entrará en vigor una vez que haya recibido 60
ratificaciones o adhesiones. Hasta el momento, 55 Estados han completado
el proceso de ratificación o adhesión y depositado el respectivo
instrumento ante el Secretario General de las Naciones Unidas.
